Jennifer has been practicing as a WHNP since 1997 after graduating from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio with a Masters in Science and Nursing where she was elected into the honor society for nurses, Sigma Theta Tau. Her background includes research, home health, hospital, and office based nursing.
Jennifer is a registered Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of Texas, and is certified as a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecological, and Neonatal Nurse Specialties. She is also a member of the Texas Nurse Practitioner Association, National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health and the Austin Area Nurse Practitioner’s Association.
In 1999, Jennifer relocated from San Antonio to join the RWG. When she is not working with women to improve their health and well being, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, Henry and their three children.
“Empowering women with the knowledge and information they need to help themselves is the main goal in my practice. Everyone, regardless of their age, ethnicity, or economic status deserves respect and excellent health care. It is very important to me that anyone I care for feel as though they are the reason I am here.”
