Dr. Michele Gilbert was born in Englewood, New Jersey and moved to Dickinson, Texas in 1981. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with Highest Honors in 1991. Her minors were French and Zoology. She attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and graduated with High Honors in 1996. Dr. Gilbert completed her Ob/Gyn residency training at Magee-Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh in June of 2000.

She has two beagles, Sam and Tabitha. Dr. Michele Gilbert joined the Renaissance Women's Group in August 2000 and is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She has a special interest in gynecologic issues, especially urinary incontinence. When not in the office, Dr. Gilbert enjoys travel, novels, and spending time with her dogs.
