Dr. Linda Litzinger was born in Fresno, California, and grew up in Northern California.  While in high school, she moved with her family to San Antonio and went on to complete her undergraduate and the majority of her postgraduate studies in Texas.  She earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree at Texas Tech University, graduating with high honors and was elected to the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.  While she was earning her Master’s Degree in nutrition at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, she was drawn to the field of medicine.  She attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center, San Antonio, and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston. 

She is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.  Dr. Litzinger has served as the chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Seton Northwest Hospital and also at the Renaissance Women’s Center.  In addition, she has served on the Medical Ethics Committee and the Medical Executive Committee at Seton Northwest Hospital. 

Outside of work, the joy of Dr. Litzinger’s life is her family.  She is married to Dr. Tom Kittleman, an ophthalmologist in Round Rock, and they are blessed with two sons.  Dr. Litzinger enjoys snow skiing, swimming and traveling with her family.  She is an avid runner and was thrilled to have had the opportunity to compete in the 2004 Boston Marathon.  As one of the senior members of Renaissance Women’s Group, Dr. Litzinger is proud and honored to be a part of a medical practice built to serve women throughout the spectrum of their lives.
