Dr. Farnaz Jahangiri is very excited to be back in Austin.  She grew up in Austin and received her Bachelors of Arts in Biology from University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with high honors in 1999.  She attended University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed her OB/GYN residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.  She is a board certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist and joined Renaissance Women's Group in 2007.   

During residency, she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and served as administrative chief resident.  Dr. Jahangiri has a special interest in minimally invasive laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery as well as office based procedures.  In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her husband.
