We are happy to offer childbirth instruction to the patients of Renaissance Women’s Group. The physicians want patients to be aware of their philosophy, available birth options and allow you an opportunity to ask questions. Classes are taught by qualified nurses. Our childbirth classes consist of a thorough explanation of the labor and delivery process with an emphasis on a variety of relaxation techniques for labor. We will also discuss anesthesia options, Cesarean sections, variations of the birthing experience and much more. We offer weekday evening classes OR you may choose our weekend day classes.

Whether this is your first experience or it’s been a few years since your last birth this class is very beneficial and fun for the expectant mother and coach.

We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and bring a pillow for your back. Plan to eat dinner before class.

Registration Information

It is important to register in your fifth month of pregnancy. You should register for the class series which will finish four to six weeks before your due date. You may register for the class that best suites your schedule. The course content will not vary significantly between instructors. To register, please fill out our online form.

To register for class, send a check for $90 payable to the instructor of your choice with the completed registration form and mail it to her attention at the address below. You will be notified by phone or email when your registration is received. If the class is full you will be accommodated in another class. (Please note: Due to the limited space in each class, refunds will only be given if you deliver before the class starts).
