Tara Mills MD joined Renaissance Women’s Group in 2004. She currently chairs the Obgyn Department at North Austin Medical Center, and is particularly interested in high-risk obstetrics; minimally invasive robotic surgery; and gynecologic/obstetrical ultrasound.
Dr. Mills grew up in Pleasanton, Texas and attended the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with high honors, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
She completed her medical school and residency training at the University of Texas at Houston/Hermann Hospital where she was Administrative Chief Resident and outstanding Chief Resident. She is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Outside of work, Dr. Mills enjoys spending time with her husband and two adorable children.. She also loves running, watching college football (UT) and traveling with her family.
